|‘BIGGEST LOSER’ ROGER SCHULTZ TO SPEAK AT UL LAFAYETTE

INFORMATION: Roger Schultz, former contestant on NBC’s The Biggest Loser, will speak to students in UL Lafayette’s Mentoring Program during a social on Thursday. The Alabama native finished second on Biggest Loser having lost 164 pounds. He’s lost more than any other contestant in the show’s history. He now works as Associate Director of Athletics for External Affairs and is a motivational speaker around the nation. His appearance is being sponsored by Cox Communications. UL Lafayette’s Mentoring Program is designed to provide academic support to first-time-freshmen who do not meet regular admission criteria. The program consists of a team of faculty and staff, who have committed themselves to assist UL Lafayette students reach their academic and career goals. Each student is paired with a faculty or staff member (mentor) who offers personal attention and guidance.
