ENRICHING THE SUMMER WITH UL LAFAYETTE

Registration is continuing for the Academic Enrichment Program offered by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Center for Gifted Education. Openings remain in many of the classes offered this summer.

The Academic Enrichment Program serves students currently in kindergarten through grade 10. There will be two afternoon sessions (June 14-25 and July 12-23) offered this summer and students may choose from a variety of academic and arts courses.

Qualified students who have completed first grade (or higher) schedule classes designed for high-ability students at their respective grade levels.

To qualify for the Academic Enrichment Program, a student must present satisfactory scores on a standardized test of mental ability or academic achievement. Students who are classified as academically gifted by state standards automatically qualify.

For more information, contact the Center for Gifted Education at 337-482-6701.
