The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Department of Performing Arts presents “The Boys Next Door,” written by Tom Griffin and directed by Allison Hetzel.

Performances will be held in Burke Hall March 23-25 at 8 p.m. and March 26 at 3 p.m. and then again on March 31-April 1 at 8 p.m. and April 2 at 3 p.m.

“The Boys Next Door” takes place in a group home where four mentally disabled men lived. The production takes the audience through their daily routine, which is chaotic, comical and sometimes tragic, often overseen by their “burnt out” social worker Jack.

While the “little things” become momentous and often quite funny, there are moments of profound poignancy as the audience takes a look into the minds of the characters and witnesses events in their everyday lives.

Tickets are available at the Student Union Box Office or at the door. For more information call: 482-6940 or 482-6357.
