|WRITER-IN-RESIDENCE TO TEACH FICTION WRITING CLASS
| UL Lafayette Writer-in-Residence and award-winning novelist Rikki Ducornet will teach a fiction writing workshop in the spring as English 446. The class, which is open to a limited number of undergraduates (accrued at least 60 hours of credit), graduate and post-graduate students, will meet from 6:30 to 9: 20 p.m. every Tuesday in Griffin Hall.
Interested students should submit a sample of their fiction - a short story of about 20 pages or a chapter of a novel in progress - to Ducornet Workshop, English Department, P.O. Box 44691, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Lafayette, LA 70504 or deliver to room 221 in Griffin Hall.
Applicants should include a cover letter describing their interest in fiction writing and academics history and include a phone number and email address.
The deadline for receiving writing samples is Nov. 20.
