The University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the UL Lafayette Department of Political Science will host a Congressional Debate featuring Republican incumbent Charles Boustany, Democratic challenger Don Cravins Jr., and the Constitution Party candidate Peter Vidrine.  

The 7th Congressional District of Louisiana Debate will be held on Oct. 22 in the Bayou Bijou Theater in the Student Union from 7-8 p.m.  The Debate will be moderated by KATC TV-3 anchor Hoyt Harris and televised live on KATC- TV3.

Harris will be asking the candidates questions submitted by UL Lafayette students, faculty, and Lafayette community.  

The public is encouraged to attend this free event presented in the public interest.
