|MOODY COLLEGE OF BUSINESS TO HOLD SEMI-ANNUAL INTERNSHIP FAIR
| On March 11, the B. I. Moody III College of Business Administration at UL Lafayette will hold its Spring 2009 Internship Fair in Moody Hall from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The Fair allows direct contact between employers and prospective interns to discuss potential internships for upcoming semesters.
“ Internships are beneficial to both students and businesses. They allow students to apply their classroom knowledge to daily business operations and provide companies with fresh ideas and the application of cutting-edge perspectives and theories being taught in the classroom,” said Dr. Gwen Fontenot, internship director for the college.
The fair is free for businesses. Each participant will receive designated space including one eight-foot table for displays. Full backdrops and large display units are prohibited. This fair is limited to recruiting for internships only.
If interested, businesses can register before March 2 by calling Karnina Dargin at (337) 482-5836 or by emailing at firstname.lastname@example.org.
