UL Lafayette's Marketing and Hospitality Department along with the Acadiana Chapter of the Louisiana Restaurant Association will once again host A Night of Red and White on April 2 from 7 - 9 p.m. The annual event will take place at the UL Lafayette Alumni Center on St. Mary Boulevard.

Food from 25 of the most noted restaurants in Acadiana will take the stage for an evening of great food, wine, and fundraising.

Proceeds will benefit both UL Lafayette's Hospitality Management program and the Acadiana Chapter of the Louisiana Restaurant Association. Tickets are $50.

Some of the featured restaurants include Bailey's, Clementine's, Fezzio's, Mulate's, Nash's, and Zea. The large variety of food will be paired with great wine selections and after dinner liquors from Republic Beverage and Glazier.

This event provides hands-on experience for hospitality students. It gives them the oppurtunity to display skills learned in the classroom and apply it to their future career. Seniors will be able to network with some of the area's best chefs while underclassmen help with the setting, cleaning, bussing tables, promoting the event, selling tickets, and securing items for the silent auction.
