The University Symphonic and Concert Bands will present their final concert of the spring semester on Wednesday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. This free event will be held in the Student Union Ballroom.

Standard band works like "They Hung Their Harps in the Willows" by Francis McBeth, Boris Kozhevnikov's Symphony No # "Slavyanskaya," and "Lagan Love, An Ancient Ulster Air" by Luigi Zaninelli are on the program as well as new band repertoire like "Raging Machines" by Brian Balmages and "Impact" by Sean O'Loughlin, plus many more.

Three trumpet players from the Symphonic Band – Brian Kidd, Todd Alexander and Trellis Sherman – will be showcased in Leroy Anderson's favorite, "Bugler's Holiday."

The Symphonic Band is conducted by Dr. Brian S. Taylor and the Concert Band is conducted by Dr. Gerald E. Waguespack.
