UL Lafayette Opera Theater to Present Isabel
The UL Lafayette Opera Theater will present its second production of the summer entitled Isabel. The operetta will be presented at the Ducrest-Gilfry auditorium in Angelle Hall on Sunday, July 26 at 3 p.m. Admission is free.

The operetta is written by Dr. James Burke, retired School of Music faculty with text by William Shakespeare based on his play, Measure for Measure. Adaptation of the dialogue has been done by Cody Daigle. Shawn Roy will direct the production and Gerald Guilbeaux will conduct the 23-piece orchestra.

The performance will be a world premiere and will be presented in concert format.
