South Louisiana residents are passionate about two things: football and Mardi Gras. For the first time, the UL Lafayette Kinesiology student organization, KPA, in association with the Miles Perret Cancer Services is hosting a Mardi Gras Football party giving the public a chance to experience the best of both worlds. Special guest, the NFL legend, cancer survivor and inspiration for the Disney Movie “Invincible,” Vince Papale will be in attendance to help celebrate.

The event will take place at the UL Lafayette Alumni Center on Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. and will include South Louisiana Cajun food along with live music and drinks. Live and silent auctions will feature autographed New Orleans Saints and Ragin’ Cajuns and NFL memorabilia. A portion of the proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the Miles Perret Cancer Services.

Tickets for the event will be limited to 400 and VIP tickets will be limited to 50. VIP tickets allow you first access to meet and greet Vince Papale and your own bar with free beer and house wine all night.

For more ticket information visit www.louisiana.edu/kpa or contact Brain at (337)482- 6461.
