The UL Lafayette Opera Theater is presenting the two-act comic opera “Too Many Sopranos” in Burke-Hawthorne Hall on Nov. 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m. and on Nov. 7 at 3 p.m.

In this charming piece by Edwin Penhorwood, four Divas try to get into the Heavenly Choir and are asked to audition. They must to go Hell to do a selfless act to bring back some tenors and basses to help fill out the choir so there is a place for all four of them.

This production is directed by Shawn Roy and is in English.

Tickets are available at the door only and are $10 for general admission and free for Opera Guild members and UL Lafayette students, faculty and staff.
