|BOSTON HISTORY PROF TO SPEAK ON WOMEN IN NURSING
|Dr. Charissa Threat, a former graduate student at UL Lafayette and current history professor at Northeastern University in Boston will present "Nursing is a Woman's Prerogative: African American Women and the Army Nurse Corps, 1940-1945" on March 3 at the UL Lafayette Alumni Center.
The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. It is part of Women's History Month and is being sponsored by Epsilon Xi Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta - the UL Lafayette History Honor Society, and the UL Lafayette History Department.
