|SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA TO PRESENT FREE CONCERT SATURDAY
|The UL Lafayette Symphony Orchestra will present a free concert featuring UL Lafayette student soloists and guest string performers on Saturday, Feb. 19. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Angelle Hall.
Over 100 pre-college string players from throughout Louisiana will join forces with the symphony to perform Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
UL Lafayette student soloist Julia Lang, violin; Stephen Tumblin, marimba; and singers Alex Hollerman and Jenee Luquette will be featured with the orchestra.
The evening will conclude with a performance of Leonard Berstein's Overture to Candide.
