|UL LAFAYETTE CLOSELY MONITORING FORECASTS|
|The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is closely monitoring
weather forecasts due to the potential for heavy rainfall over
the next few days.
There are no plans at this time to cancel classes or close the university. All scheduled events on campus will be held this weekend.
The university will be closed Monday, Sept. 5, for the Labor Day holiday. Edith Garland Dupré Library will observe holiday hours this weekend: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
UL Lafayette is expected to resume classes and operations on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Should weather conditions warrant cancellations or closures, information will be provided via the university’s 24-hour hotline, (337) 482-2222; local media; and the university’s website, www.louisiana.edu
