The Second Annual Spooktacular Children's Halloween Carnival will be hosted by UL Lafayette student organizations on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 2 - 5 p.m. at Fraternity Row near the Cajundome.

“ I wanted to put this together to be able to give back something to a community that has given me so much but also provide a safe and fun place for kids to go for Halloween,” said Chris Hargrave, Interfraternity Council president and Spooktacular co-organizer.

Children 12 and under are invited to attend the event. A parent or guardian needs to be in attendance as well.

Guests can enjoy a variety of free fun-filled activities such as carnival games, face painting, trick or treating, a haunted house, a fun jump and an area to decorate pumpkins. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

“ We are excited about this event because it will give parents a chance to introduce the university to their children and it also allows them to spend quality family time together at a fun event that everyone will enjoy," said Chelsea Bonnecaze, event co-organizer.
