The final charrette to discuss the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s master plan is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 2, in Wharton Hall, room 222. The presentation will begin at 6 p.m.

As directed by its strategic plan and as recommended by the Presidential Transition Teams, the university launched a comprehensive campus master planning process earlier this year. The goal is to chart a course for future university development and for codifying this growth.

Led by Steve Oubre with Architects Southwest and other nationally recognized consultants, members of the university community participated in small workshops to gather data, develop baselines and determine future needs such as facility improvements, program enrollment and infrastructure needs.

The entire community is encouraged to attend the charrette. This will be the last opportunity to provide feedback on the plan before it is finalized. Planners will be on hand to discuss designs and ideas put forth previously.
