UL Lafayette will be offering the 2012 Mental Health Professionals Continuing Education Seminar on Feb. 9 and 10.

The seminar includes short workshops for various mental health professionals to earn continuing education credits towards annual licensing requirements.

Topics are:

• Implementing Positive Psychology in Clinical Practice - Thurs, Feb. 9, 8 a.m. – noon

• Sleep and the Consequences of Deprivation – Thurs., Feb. 9, 1 – 5 p.m.

• The Sacred Therapeutic Relationship – Fri., Feb. 10, 8 a.m. – noon

• Enhancing Screening, Assessment, and Treatment Planning Integration with Motivational Enhancement (MET) – Fri., Feb. 10, 1 – 5 p.m.

The fee for single day (Feb. 9 or Feb. 10) participation is $115. For the entire seminar is $195.
