SHRM ESSENTIALS OFFERED THROUGH CONTINUING EDUCATION
 
UL Lafayette will be offering SHRM-Essentials for Human Resource Management Certificate Program on May 1 and 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The SHRM Essentials of Human Resource Management Certificate Program is a premier introductory course offering a broad overview of the human resource function.
This program is for workers new to human resources or those who simply want to strengthen their employee management skills.

The course covers real-life HR issues and today's most vital and timely topics, including employment law, selecting qualified employees, compensation, orientation and training, and the employee performance process.

Participants will learn practical techniques for effectively handling daily HR challenges. SHRM materials for the course are included. Course fee is $495.
