Earn a Paralegal Certificate Through Continuing Education
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is offering the nationally acclaimed Paralegal Certificate Course© in a live lecture format beginning Saturday, Sept. 22.

The course provides affordable, comprehensive training for individuals seeking careers in the growing legal field.

It will be held on Saturdays and Sundays for six weekends at UL Lafayette’s Continuing Education Center.

Those who successfully complete the class will earn a paralegal certificate from UL Lafayette and will be trained and qualified to work as a paralegal in Louisiana. Job search techniques are covered in the curriculum.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage for people with paralegal training is 37.8 percent higher than the national average. Also, the job outlook for paralegals is projected to improve significantly over the next 10 years.
