During your project consultation, you choose specific ink colors, paper stock, quantity, and basic design. At this time our staff  will assist you in selecting photographs, artwork, and illustrations. They will also consult with you on placement, cropping, reduction and enlargement of the graphics.
Our staff then creates a first draft utilizing all the information provided by you. This draft is a visual sample that represents the ideas of the customer, as well as providing a rough example of what the actual printed piece will look like. At this stage you should check the placement of the type, correct positioning of the photographs and logos, and proofread the type for accuracy. The final proof is prepared from this first draft.
Again, we emphasize that excessive changes in the copy at this and future production stages can quickly become very expensive and add delays to your due date.

    Utilize a variety of resources...

Keep an eye out for publications that grab your attention. Note how color, text, photos, and graphics are used. Bring them to Printing Services when submitting your job as a sample to provide what you're looking for in the design of your publication.
